Although many of us have heard of Fallbrook and some have been there, have you ever wondered about its profile and where exactly it falls on the map? It may be a bit of a mystery to some. For example, why does it abruptly end on the west side? There seems to be lots of open country in that area,  plenty of room to grow as a town. Fallbrook is flanked on the east by the I -15. It is also flanked there by the Pala Indian Reservation. Could it be that another reservation sits on the west side? And what exactly makes up Fallbrook east west and inbetween?
That is the general gist of Fallbrook’s geographical location. It’s in a hilly, rural area whose limits are set, by and large by reservations and protected areas. While the Pala Native American land spreads out further east, the land to the west is Uncle Sam’s. Camp Pendelton is huge. It is the simple answer to our first question.

Most of us know Fallbrook as a scenic and lush, semi rural place with homes widely spread out and tucked away on acreage. We are familiar with its landscape, literally carpeted with avocado and other fruit trees, as we pass by on the I-15. We may know it’s got one of the better locations for commercial growers of these fruits. But, what else do we really know about Fallbrook? What is Fallbrook east west and inbetween all about? Is it as it appears, just a large bedroom community of semi-rural, country homes and estates, where growers predominate? Or does it also have a town center? Does it have more compact neighborhoods, with some suburban and in-town features?
Fallbrook is all of the above. Yes, it’s the semi-rural, countryside enclave most apparent from its east side. But if you follow E Mission Rd. off of the I-15, you’ll discover the west side. Yes, it’s a small town. It has a town center with shopping, dining, entertainment, medical, schools and lots of other services around. Yes, it has many neighborhoods closer into to the focus of town.
The many sides of Fallbrook east west and inbetween are pronounced in its lifestyles and homes. Fallbrook real estate covers country homes and estates that are a huge attraction. Occasional, upscale home developments do add careful growth in these home types. Cozier, well-established homes define a lot of the neighborhoods closer in. Hillside niches make up many of the locations for both the countryside and closer in homes.
Plenty of in-town features and conveniences ensure Fallbrook is primarily self-contained and quite a lovely little town. At the same time, it is mainly residential. Many sides of Fallbrook are found in semi-rural and suburban features. They are the main attractions of Fallbrook east west and inbetween.
